I too have heard it'a good for ulcers. Didn't know about the lungs though! I'd be curious about trying it!

I have researched it and have Been wanting to try it on an ulcery mare at my barn to help with her treatment. But I can't find it anywhere:/ I'm gonna have to order it

My mare is on slippery elm tblspoon 3 times a day right now for her tummy. She has not been a morning eater since I have owned her. Two days on slippery elm and she's eating like a hoover vacuum regardless of the time of day :
)
I buy it in powder form at our health food store. I've tried omeprazole and several other ulcer herbs on her and never had results like this.

Several supplements have them both in them so you should be able to feed both.
