Expert Posts: 2128	Thinking of trading for a young daughter of Boonlight Dancer. I get along well with cow type horses, anyone out there running barrels on a horse with this breeding?

That's White "Man" to You Posts: 5515	I've got a rancher friend that really likes them. They can really buck, but other than that they are good using horses. I imagine they would take to the barrels just fine.

Jr. Detective Location: Beggs, OK	Third Cutting is a son of Boonlight Dancer and an incredible athlete. Part of the reason that cutters do so well in other disciplines is that they are so broke....it's not necessarily because they are just cutting bred. The riding that goes into those horses is incredible. I've never heard of the BD's being buckers. You'll hear of someone that has a bucker out of nearly every line though. I like the washout cutters for my girls to ride. They've done well with them and they have been plenty fast enough to run barrels. Most of ours are Docs Stylish Oak/Freckles Playboy bred.

He has taken my hubby to the pay window in team roping on both ends. He seems to accel in everything and he is still young. I would buy another any day. Are yours big? Mine has grown to be a lot larger than I would have anticipated considering his pedigree.

Mine has grown to be a lot larger than I would have anticipated considering his pedigree. Ours are all over the board. We have three full siblings with the pedigree below. The mare is 14.3 and the two geldings are 15.1 and 15.3 My daughters mare that she's currently running is a daughter of Royal Fletch and out of a DSO/FP mare and she's only 13.3 Then we have a son of DSO that's out of the same mare as the pedigree below and he's right at 15 hands. They are all good boned and a nice size. None of them have that frail look that you see with some of the cutting lines that are popular right now. We are breeding the mare that's in this pedigree to Royal Fletch this year and a daughter of Dual Pep to Lizzys Gotta Player. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/stylish+santana

I never put much weight in it until they buck with me.
