Location: Texas | I've had 4 Johnny Boone granddaughters. It's old breeding (JB was born in 1965). They have all been really talented and quick. The two out of one of the mares were a little psycho. The two out of another mare have been much more laid back.
Hancock is also old breeding. Hancocks get a bad rap for bucking. The one I have is as reliable and solid as they get. |

Location: Tennessee | My grandmother ran a grandson of Johnny Boone while I was growing up http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/justin+Boone He was always really consistent and she did pretty well on him. He was horrible on other horses in his younger years, he had to be kept seperate, but has mellowed in his old age. He was always lovable to people though, a big teddy bear. He had some problems with his hocks back when she was running him pretty heavy, but is still pretty sound now at 27. He's pretty much retired, but he hates to stay home, so she'll pull him out and do a little cow sorting on him now and again, nothing too hard on him though, he loves it, and loves to be with his people. |

Location: Wynnewood, OK | Thanks for the input! Not many around anymore but I've only heard good things about Johnny Boone. These brothers are double bred Johnny Booone. I was more familiar with Hancock. |

Location: Missouri | I advertised this one on here and no one even looked! He sold to someone that went to look at a different colt. He was bred by my FIL and his brother. They sure like them, but I haven't been around enough to know... http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/im+johnny+dash

Location: Wynnewood, OK | Wow, I like the top side of that horse. Can't believe no one looked. I don't have the papers yet but will try. They are older geldings (7 & 8) and just now getting broke! But in 2 weeks they look and act like old ranch horses. Love them so far. Was wondering about soundness. |
