Had been running my 11 year old gelding in the Molly Powell Moneymaker, with dogbone. Wanted to free him up on the pattern so went to a simple o-ring. He is doing great on the pattern. Been clocking some of our fastest times ever. The problem.... I cannot stop him in the alley. He is well trained on the pattern, but he needs help at the first barrel. That is our worst barrel. Since I have been more conscious of "asking him to rate" and "asking him to turn", we are doing much much better. Even in the o-ring. Wondering about a bit recommendation somewhere between the o-ring and the Moneymaker..??? I'm not a bit person.. so I look to you bit guru's.! THANKS.!!!!

Sweet six bit? It's got the curb chain, gag action, but isn't a complete snaffle.
