Location: Montana | Dave is awesome to work with no matter what bit you want. He will have as long a conversation as needed to help you decide which bit will work the best for you, your horse and situation. His knowledge is extensive of the anatomy and how each bit is going to work. I have chain mouth pieces in several of mine and love them but some people don't like them. I've used a couple of the three piece mouth pieces that friends have and like their feel as well. |

Location: In my own little world | Awesome bits no matter which one you get. I have several. The 03 is my personal "go to" bit. I have the 03 and the 03 short shank that I am using on 2 different horses right now. I also have the 13 and like it very well. It is a great transition bit as you can get some lift out of it. The 04 is very popular. I have also ridden in the 01. I liked the feel of it but the particular horse I was riding got a little anxious in it. The reaction time is quick. The 07 mouthpiece is pretty common. I have the 14 in my 13 shank. You just really cant go wrong with any of them. If it is something you end up not liking on a particular horse, they hold their value and actually can be worth more because people don't have to wait to get them if ordering. I've pretty much quit buying anything else. Expensive but worth the investment. They are all very balanced and I like the fact they are not a factory built bit. |

I agree...the customer service is awesome. If you talk to Dave he will help you logically pick out a bit for your horse. If it doesn't work he will exchange it for you.
I must admit I have many Elliot bits and I have never returned a single one. They are my go to competition bits. I have many different variations on shanks and mouthpieces for the individual horse...Can't say enough good about these |

Location: Texas | That's how I got mine...I emailed Dave, told him what I had on my horse, what was working and what wasn't. HE suggested the bit that I ended up getting. I've used it on both of my horses and have won a lot of money with it. I am saving up for my next elliott.. can't decide which one I want.
If you were to buy one just to have, which one would you buy? Or would you just wait until you had a need for another? I don't see myself needing to change bits on any of my open horses right now but I have a 2YO and a bunch of babies coming up.. I don't want junk in their mouth. LOL |

Spur up 06 with an 07 mouthpiece. If I was only allowed to use one bit on every horse for the rest of my life, this would be it. |

I have the 02 with the 21 mouth piece! Both of my horses love it especially my young one! He works very well in it. I had a hard time finding exactly what he liked and this worked awesome! |

Yay! So glad to hear that. My girl needs just a little less than the 03 so the 02 should be perfect!!
