Not that anyone's interested, but I wanted to share lol! ;
) but we're pretty excited! Last week I asked about the 04-08 model explorers, and got lots of good responses. We ended up finding a 2010 for a great price, low mileage and well maintained that we bought today. DH is so tickled to have an explorer again, he's like a little kid! And it matches our truck
(Maximus
) so I had to name the new car 'Maxine.' So thanks to everyone who responded to my post!

Congrats! Sorry I didn't see your other post, I haven't been on in awhile. My husband drives a 2006 Explorer and we love it! We were rear-ended really bad last year and that thing took a beating for us. It had $5k worth of damage so it was almost totaled, but thankfully it's mileage was low enough to save it. I am definitely an Explorer fan!

Thank you! It is a nice feeling! We owe quite a bit less on this vehicle too which is just the icing on the cake! Lol. And it rides SO nice.
That's good to know your 06 held up in a wreck! My DH has always been an explorer fan too :
) he had a 2000 when he first start college and sold it not long before we met I think. He's wanted a new one ever since. My dad had a 1st generation one when I was a kid, you know the really boxy ones. So having the last of the boxier models is a little nostalgic for me. It has the same paint scheme as the one dad had
(I think...
) lol!
