Location: MI | In all of the years I've owned horses, I haven't had a dent. My gelding has a decent one on his hiney, I'm assuming one of our mares got him. Is there anything that can be done for it? I gave him some bute, if there's anything I can do to keep it from being a permanent mark I'll do it!

| I've had quite a few horses with those awkward "dents" before =] Nothing can really be done, I had the vet check them out and apparently they are dead muscles. Shouldn't effect the horse at all, if so you might want to get it checked out. |

Location: MI | Blah...I've bought horses with them before, but they haven't acquired them while in my care. We have a hotter mare on the premises right now who has happy feet, and with this rain they weren't allowed out in the big pasture and I guess this is what I get for it!
Alright, we'll suck it up. He moves fine on it, it just upsets me. I'll run it by my vet though, just in case. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | I had only had my gelding for a couple of months when he acquired a dent the size of the Grand Canyon in his butt, courtesy of an evil mare. That's been 2 years ago. Dents happen. |
