| I am shopping for a used 10 to 12 ft LQ. I have found a really good deal on a 14 ft but I am not sure I really want to pull that big thing around. Is 2 feet really going to make that much difference?Any insight would be greatly appreciated. |

Location: Oklahoma | You will not notice a difference in the 2ft of LQ space... it will give you that much more room though... |

| I originally had an 8ft short wall.. jumped to 14ft hated it... absolutely hated it being so big... I am now down to 10 ft... I am now much more comfortable with this one... but it also depends on the area and places you are hauling... a lot of places in my area are rough narrow roads so the 14ft limited where I could go a lot |

| I don't think you would notice the extra length when pulling it and the extra space would sure be nice in the living quarters. |

| I have a 14 foot, L - shaped couch. Love it. The horse stalls are xtra large, love it. The person who orginially ordered it owned a dealership, my 16 hand 1200 pound gelding has plenty of room, i can put a bales of hay sideways in a stall. I think i measured the stall was 30 inches wide, dont hold me to,that. I havent used it but once in last 6 months.

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | I have a 14' LQ and love it. I do notice it sometimes tho. Someone mentioned rough narrow roads--um, right here, we have the worst roads in the country, but the length of the trailer is only noticeable in some turns. I barely squeak it into some places, making as wide a turn as possible, and sometimes backing up to jack-knife it more. And there are places it just won't fit where my smaller LQ trailer was never a problem. I'm a good enough driver with enough experience that it doesn't intimidate me at all, but it does get a little hairy sometimes. Ask my husband about the mistake we made in choosing routes coming home from camping in the mountains a couple of years ago. Hahahahahaha Blind little pin curves on the side of a mountain with a dangerous drop off if you misjudged, and I couldn't stay in my lane and make those turns. Thankfully, there wasn't a lot of traffic. I needed a stiff drink by the time I got us out of there. |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | I have a 14' with a slide out. I could never go any smaller and its typically just me and my dog traveling. I'm sorta kinda a diva though. |
