| In Psalm 56 , we see a man honest before God David had some big enemies, men who constantly oppressed, hounded, and fought him they turned his words, thoughts about ways to harm him, and watched his every move What misery!
Psalm 55:1-13 PLEASE READ ALOUD
Be merciful to me, O God, for man would swallow me up; fighting all day oppresses me. MY enemies would hound me all day, for there are many who fight against me, O Most High. Whenever I am afraid, I WILL TRUST IN YOU, in God I have out me trust; I WILL NOT FEAR. what can flesh do to me? All day they twist my words; all thir thoughts are against me for evil. they gather together, they hide, they mark my steps, when they lie in wait for my life. Shall they escape by inqiinity? In anger cast down the people's, O God!
You number my wanderings;put my tears into Your bottle; are they not in Your book? When I cry to You, then my enemies will turn back; THIS I KNOW, because GOD IS FOR ME. In God, In The Lord , In God I HAVE PUT MY TRUST; I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. What can man do to me? Vows made to You are binding upon me O God; I will render praises to You. For You have delivered my soul from death. have You not kept my feet from falling, That I may walk before God In the light of the living?
avid chose, instead of complaining, retreating, or returning evil for evil, he lifted praises to God, in whom he put his trust.
When we are face with spiritual attack, fear and want ifs threathen to grip our hearts. Calling out praises for who God is became a powerful weapon against the enemy. Although we may not know how to so,be the situation, speaking aloud of God's love, faithfulness, truth, power, and many other attributes brought peace that HE IS IN CONTROL.
Are you facing a situation that threatens to swallow you up? PLEASE READ ALOUD with your whole heart this Psalm. As David, put your confidence in His Word. We ARE in the hands of the Mighty One. WE HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR!

being a Chrisitan doesn't keep us from trials, but being in a relationship with Jesus DOES prepare us for the trials. A solid foundation in God's Word will carry you through.
Father, guide me today to do all things to bring glory and honor to,You AMEN
