Just curious to hear stories of anybody who has had a tattoo removed. Good or bad. What was the cost? Number of sessions? Success in removing it? Before n after photos would be great. Thanks.

My dad had it done. He's a large, intimidating looking man who had a large pink pegasus tattoo on his shoulder. He had it removed with a laser and said it was easy peasy. He did get a tattoo over the same spot and you would NEVER have known it was there.

I had one removed, dark colors too, and you really cant even tell it was there unless I point it out. Not bad as far as pain goes, little zaps that feel sorta like pin pricks. Took I think 4 trips to the laser dr, and back then it was only around 250 each visit. ( a lot more than the tatoo lol )

I am in the process of having one removed. Its not so bad as far as pain. I know a lady that does this so I have only paid 50$/treatment (my tattoo is about the size of a silver dollar). She says that when she works in bigger city clinics they charge anywhere from 100$-250$ for small to medium sized tattoos per treatment. It should take about 4-5 treatments for mine.. I've had 3 so far but stopped when I became pregnant after 2 and had my 3rd 6 weeks PP. I believe it will be completely gone with one more treatment!

Hi the laser tattoo removal treatments have been more popular these days which are of less pain and easy. The price and the number of sittings for removing the tattoos. I have experienced with undo.ink, they make my tattoo removed completely in 4 sittings for which i have paid for 3 sittings.

Several years ago some guy asked my fil, a surgeon, about removing a tattoo. This was before lasers. Doc told him to rub salt on it. It worked. I'm sure it was done over a period of time but it might be worth trying for a start.

I can totally picture this and it makes laugh. And it really makes me want to hear the story of how he wound up with a large pink pegasus tattoo.
