Well as it turns out, my son was disqualified. (I am not going to lie, I was VERY relieved!) When my son was 15 the doctor thought he had an irregular heart beat (I don't recall the exact term). It ended up that there wasn't actually a problem but the Marines wanted nothing to do with him once they found that out. My son was a little ticked off for a few days but now he is considering joining one of the reserves. Time will tell if he does or not...
