Location: Montana | Is a Darkelly daughter worth more than a comparable barrel horse, less than a comparable barrel horse, or the same as a comparable barrel horse? By comparable, I mean running in the same D with similar amount of training, just different bloodlines. Thanks! |

| So are you comparing againt a Daughter of DTF or Joe Blow? If your question is... is Darkelly a popular name?...Yes. Is it as popular as DTF or FG?...No. |

Not against DTF or FG, but say against ASOF, or Ivory James or Reckless Dash or Streaking Ta Fame or Pc Frenchmans Hayday or Blazin Jetolena, as just examples, with some joe blows in there or cow breds or grand gets of something well known. I know Darkelly made a big splash because of Kellies Chick aka Skye in the NFR this year, but was wondering if it really made a difference on the value of other Darkelly bred horses. |

| I would say yes, he fits in the middle catagory there with the others you named.
But I have noticed a lot of them that are way over priced as well. I was looking at a nice daughter of Darkelly the other day. She was broke and on the pattern but not winning anything yet. She kept throwing out there that she was a daughter of Darkelly. I had to tell her that I know who Darkelly is...And if it wasn't for his name I wouldn't even be looking. But I also didn't bring her home either...she wasn't nearly as nice as the seller thought she was(at least according to her price).

Location: Texas | It's definitely worth something, but it shouldn't be the only thing the horse has going for it if that makes sense.

Location: Montana | 2D/3D with limited hauling (less than 35 runs) but has clocked a couple times in the 1D at smaller races, broke without issues, almost anyone can ride, probably not suited for a youth, but teen on up would do well with her. Has been hauled and ready to go, and futurity eligible. Just a little info. |
