Im sure this topic has been covered a ton but what girth/cinch does everyone like? Also was told that if buying mohair to go a size down. Is that correct? For example my mares a 32 in a neoprene so I would get a 30 in a mohair?
Got a new horse so was thinking about giving him my mares girth and getting her a new one. He has one but its older and i feel like kind of worn out.
TIA

We tried a neophrene once.  Unfortunately it was during winter and with the long hair it was pinching the two we tried it on.  They looked like big bunny rabbits trying to hop away from it.  Stick with good old mohair now.

Thank you! We've used neoprene but its time to get newer girths and we've been wanting to switch. Do you get a size smaller in mohair or size the same as neoprene? (shes a 32 in neoprene so would she be a 30?) I dont want to have to buy have it shipped to ship back.

You go down a size as the mohair will stretch some.

Only girths I use are neoprene. I don't like any other kind, and I have NEVER had a problem with rubs or anything.
