Extreme Veteran Posts: 368 Location: Ellensburg, Washington	Just got a new saddle that fits my horse better.I am used to riding in a rough out saddle and this one is smooth. Expert Posts: 1409 Location: Oklahoma	So glad u posted this! I'm in the same boat. My saddle is fully tooled w ostrich seat. I have thought bout rosin or roughing out the part between seat and fender even tho will take away from saddle. But I gotta do something!

Elite Veteran Posts: 878 Location: "...way down south in the Everglades..."	When I was riding jumpers I used this rub on stuff called Sadl-Tite. There are some sprays too. Easy to use stuff and it doesn't damage your tack or clothing....stays on for quite some time too. I used to put it on my saddle and tall hunt boots.

Sport Haft spray Julie (PHTmagnetics) turned me on to it! Works well and cleans off easily from smooth leather.
