My farrier was out of town the past 2 weeks and my mare needed done bad so I strayed...what could my friends farrier do wrong if I hovered over him right?? Well the guy ended up cutting off my mare so short she went down a whole shoe size. I am SICK and mad at myself for letting him do that. She's 15.2 and wearing a 00....anyways now she's lame on her front. I packed her with magic cushion but is there anything else I can do for her OR make her feet grow fast???

Biotin is supposed to help feet grow quicker

I would also consult with my vet about giving her banamine for the next few days, as horses who are cut too short can founder if left unattended

The first thing I would do is pull the shoes. Keep her in an area with soft ground.

All good advice but I would not pull the shoes, even if you know how to pull them without screwing up the wall

Is she sore on both fronts? Or just one?
Might not hurt to consider the possiblity of a hot nail as well.

Yeah that's true about the hot nail. Great. Going to the vet today to see what's going on. Thanks everyone who replied.
