This is my son an I with my first horse, Pepper. Pepper is 34, retired, and in great health. When I found out ideas pregnant it was my dream to get pictures of my son with him... They turned out beautiful!

What a sweet, sweet picture. Hope Pepper is around a lot longer and he and your son can form THAT bond.

Thank you! I actually gave Pepper to a family when he was 27 as their daughter had very low confidence and needed something to learn on, and he was just standing around looking sad (he loves being the centre of attention, and LOVES little girls)... After free leasing him for a year I decided to sign him over to her because she was always so worried that we would take him back. He is living out his days on their beautiful ranch as their spotted lawn ornament... A perfect retirement for the old boy. He was the go-to ranch horse on the ranch my family ran when I was a kid (77000 acres), he has taken 10 little girls through 4-H (he loved it), he was in pony club for a few years, and his current family did some mounted shooting on him. He's that once-in-a-lifetime horse, and I'm so glad my Rhen got to meet him.

that's a sweet story to go with your sweet picture. What a wonderful gift you shared with that family, and seem to have not only made them happy but also Pepper!! I have a 36 year old that brings me immeasurable joy, so I know how special those old boys are. . . .
