| Copper Springs Ranch and teaming Prime Talent up with Frenchmans Guy? I find it interesting... I wonder how the move will affect the Meyers sale, and how it will affect the Fulton sale, since now it appears that people might have to choose over one or the other, geographically that is. I also wonder if there has yet to be any Prime Talents that have become winners in the barrel pen? |

| I'm pretty sure Copper Springs bought Furyofthewind maybe? I know they recently purchased a darn nice, proven race bred stallion.

| I think it will be great for them! CSP has some bred by FG or FG daughters. I think it will just bring more people in to look at them since they are two completely different stallions. |

| Copper Springs is an awesome program/ facility. I live near there and go there all the time for barrel races and know the owners etc. They did buy Furyofthewind, Prime Talent babies are proving themselves on the racetrack, I've seen a few in the barrel pen, they do well, but most are still very young, like at most 7. But they're prospects are awesome. I think the Myers teaming with Copper Spring is going to be great!! |

Prime Talent is 15, his earliest foal crop is 9 this year. Maybe they are just going to be late bloomers? |

| It disappointed me to see it moved. We usually went to the Fulton sale, and the next morning headed to Spearfish for the Myer's sale. This year we have a broodmare in Rapid City, so we decided we'll go to Myers sale and pick her up along the way home. No time to make it to both. . . I hope it's not a permanent change but then again it'll be nice to get out and see some new country.
I'm curious the demographics of where the buyers are coming from. If most buyers in the past have come from the west, then I don't see it hurting their sale any.

How many foals does he have and how many in his first 4 crops? How many actually went to the barrel pen? You can't just assume a horse produces late bloomers or can't produce without actual numbers. |

| They could be!! I'm not sure, I just haven't seen enough of them run to determine how they are really. I've seen all pretty young ones like I said. But Prime Talent has produced amazing track offspring, so the speed is there, maybe just not the turn? I haven't seen any crosses with Prime Talent with any working cow horse or foundation, maybe that's what they need. Personally, that's what I prefer and have more luck with. Maybe they will branch out start making those crosses, instead of all run? |

I actually did "assume" that with all the barrel race and rodeo incentives they used to have on him that a few would have tried that already? |

Sorry. That came off way off of what I was trying to say. I was trying to to say people in general assuming, not you specifically. Although after rereading it, I see how snotty I sounded. Sorry! |
