Anyone have any thoughts on them? I currently ride in a Pozzi 15 in saddke but the Just B Natural saddles look super comfy and wouldn't mind trying one. I saw where some people said they ride smaller seat wise. Does anyone ride in them? How are they to ride in? Do they fit a horse well? I like a saddle to "hug" me and help me stay on! I need all the help I can get!

Mine rolled really bad and felt like it had a twist in it. I NEVER felt like it sat straight. Yes they do ride smaller, and they measure different than treed. They do sit very deep and hold you in. I rode mine on my colt and my open horse and liked the way it held me in, but couldnt get past the rolling and twist feel. I bought mine when it very first came out and sold it about 8 months after. Maybe they are better now?

I bought a used one that had a crooked tree and had been ridden like that for quite some time by looking at the way it was worn. I put it back in the box and sent it back the next day. After seeing it in person..I would never buy another.

I have one! I love how it feels to run in. Super deep seat and with the suede, I always feel secure. But can still get up and out of it to hustle. It fit my mare great for a while. But, unfortunately, hubby bought it for me when my mare wasn't legged up.  And got the narrower fit saddle. It now is a hair too small for her. So am debating selling it. Very sad since it's still like new.

I had one of the JBN barrels, I loved it absolutely had no problems with mine.   I had my barrel mare that was so hard to fit and the JBN fit great plus I and loved the feel of the treeless.  When they started production the JBN I immediately bought one.  If I get back into barrels I will definently buy another.

I love it some and hate it some!

Love the deep seat, the neoprene type tree that flexes and has spine clearance.

I like the balance. It's lightweight.

I hate the drop down rigging with cutout and the angle of the rings - they angle in towards the horses ribs and press really tight on the ribcage, leading to soreness, unless you are aware of it and can do something to combat it.

It is similar to the Circle Y flex tree double rigging -- If you are familiar with Len Brown -- he has an article about it on his website.

Not just no, but H-E-double-hockey-sticks NO.

Long story short, I had one in which one side of the seat measured 1.5" bigger than the other side at the leg opening. It was not even close to straight. WAY off. The cantle on one side was several inches higher than the other side.

Circle Y wanted me to wait for another one to be made (which 6 months later I still had no saddle), and the dealer (PM if you want that name... high volume web seller) fought me that whole time since I was over the 30 day return window before noticing it (it was cold out and I hadn't ridden much, and I also thought it was a pad or other issue on my end... never thought the saddle would have been made crooked), telling me it was now a warranty issue and they were not liable. I finally was given a refund from the dealer after a LOT of arguing and emailing back and forth. Customer Service on both fronts was a JOKE.

I will never deal with Circle Y again, period.

Also, the resale on them is crap and the quality is meh. For the price, you are much better off with a Bob Marshall. JMHO

Also, I felt the seat was so deep that I was trapped, and the twist was really very narrow. The saddle also sat up pretty high on my horse's back and the horn was VERY tall.

Overall, I was very disappointed in the entire experience.

I've heard many people like theirs, but I hated mine. I tried it once on a trail ride and I walked home. Hurt my thighs terribly. The pommel angle was waaay off for my horse and the angle of it was rather sharp rather than rounded off and was digging into her shoulder.
