Please tell me what we can do in Seattle for 1/2 day and 1 night. We're headed up to RV for 8 days and want to spend 1 day in "culture".

Seattle is a cool town.
Plenty of things to see and do.
Pike Place market is cool, the space needle is touristy but sort of cool.
Plenty of water front activity.
Just wing it.

I went once to visit my sister when she lived there. TONS to do. The fish market was cool, we went to the Space Needle. And rented kayaks in the Puget Sound, there are some really cool house boats to see! We also went to the aquarium.

I'd walk Pike Street Market, the pier, have lunch at Ivar's on the pier and smell the salty sea air. Ahhhhhhh.
