We just moved to Boulder County Colorado 2 months ago and I am having a really hard time finding a place to board my 9 year old mare. She is a great horse and I try to ride her 3-4 times per week. We live east of Boulder and all the barns I have found are dressage or hunter jumper barns. Not only are they very expensive ($500-$700 per month) but they don't offer what we need to ride a barrel horse. My horse and I are low maintenance and we would love to find a small barn or someone who has room for one more horse. Please help!

On the southwest corner of highway 52 and county line road is the Wheeler ranch, they are nice and they were reasonably priced when we boarded there.

True West is also having a race at the Boulder county fairgrounds tomorrow, you could go there and ask around. Most the people are very nice.

Thank you! The Wheeler ranch looks very nice. I was looking for something a little closer if possible, this ranch is about 25 minutes away. I found a place that will work for now (no indoor) but hopefully she will be happier. I have been to one show so far and you are right, everyone is very nice!
