I would say anytime.  Good ground, will take some water.

I am hoping they will have a Friday slack, after...they'll have to fill all the perfs and the Thursday slack first though.  Does anyone know if they usually get it all filled. You would think with 8500 added it wouldnt be a problem. Last night I called the entry office and they said that they still had spots open for Thursday and to try back tonight...fingers crossed. Just trying to avoid taking off work Friday. Four hour drive for me.

Thats one of the best am rodeos in the country.Ground is most always good. They run it off. If you have a good horse its a good one to go to.Win a lot.And the buckle is sure nice to. Center alley and they shut the crowd off from getting in the way. They lane it all way to back pen.Come a running.

Great rodeo, great ground, even better parade in town and great crowds!  Definitely worth entering and I've seen all performances for the last 4 years and never seen the ground bad even when it rained.

Childress is in the brand new indoor....I think this is the first event in the new facility. The old arena was a real nice big sandy pen.

well...haha. I wasn't aware of that. I think my friend Codi had told me that they were planning on having it inside but didnt know that it would be finished in time. Sooooooo I guess I better hit a indoor jackpot before Saturday for a tune up. Gracias!
