Location: The best kept secret in TX | I have searched this forum up and down and can't seem to find the threads with everyone's barn layouts, stall layouts, and etc. I've seen some pictures on here before of stalls made out of panels as well. Could someone help me find the thread of everyone's barn layouts, etc? If not, would you mind posting pics of your barns, stalls, runs? I mainly just want to see the stalls and runs as we will be building stalls/ runs this week. Thanks for any help! |

| Here is my geldings own personal barn, the stall is a 15x20 (I think...) and has a wide open door to his pasture. Not the best design for using when his girlfriend visits, but for just him, it's fine. You can't lock him in the stall with how we have it, but never need to now that I don't show him.

Right now, my stall area is 2x4s nailed up at various intervals. Eventually we'll replace them with solid lower walls in u-channel and sliding metal stall doors. The runs are the same fence as the pastures, hot hot hot Electro-braid. My crew all gets along well so I don't have any issues

| I don't have any pictures of my barn on this computer, but the picture below shows what the stalls look like. Mine are Rocking J just like the ones in the picture below and are almost identical, just a different color for the metal. I have 3 on each side of the barn (6 total) with a 14ft alley in between. They don't have runs because they go out on pasture during the day. Each stall has a window on the back side (on the wall) so they can see outside. Roll up doors on each end of the barn so that we can open them when it's hot out for good air flow or close them in when it's cold. Dropped ceiling with insulation so that it stays warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer and reduces noise when there are storms and such. There is a space about 10 feet long between where the last stalls end and where the wall of the barn is, where we have a washrack and a space to store shavings.
I'm really happy with the layout and there's really not much I would change.
