Location: Rocky Mountains		She is registered as a palomino. I don't know much about color genetics so I have no idea if a palomino can have a dorsal stripe without carrying the dun gene!! And her legs are slightly SLIGHTLY darker than her body but that's typical in palominos. It's the dorsal stripe that has me kinda wondering.

Location: Loma Linda, CA		The dorsal stripe is the dun gene + the primitive leg markings which include the zebra type stripes.

My past dunalino was a dark gold palomino with blonde mane/tail, a shade darker legs and the dorsal stripe.

Location: Where I am happiest		Are either of her parents a dun? Do you have pics? If neither parent is dun, she probably has counter shading making it look like a stripe.
