 Can You Hear Me Now?
Location: When you hit the middle of nowhere .. Keep driving | Does anyone have any recipes with either Kale, Tomatoes, or celery in them that are freezable they will share. Pasta sauce, salsa & Kale chips; we have more then enough of already so something different would be amazing. We had a good early frost this morning so I pulled everything I could out of my garden and need to preserve it TIA |

| So if I had kale, celery and tomatoes--I'd make a soup with all three.
I have one that you make with frying up a pound of sausage, onions and you could add the celery too.
Roast your tomatoes for 30 min at 350, then peel and chop and toss them in the pan.
Add a good double handful of chopped up kale, maybe a can of white beans then cover with chicken broth and simmer for a while. Season it with salt and pepper as needed and maybe alittle garlic powder.
I would cool it and put it into 2-4 cup containers then you have an easy lunch or supper.
Also, I have just tried it this year, you really can just wash and toss your tomatoes into a plastic bag and freeze them. I would think you could freeze kale the same way as you buy frozen spinach for use in the winter in soups and stews. |

Location: Kansas | I think I had a few that I had pinned on pinterest. Let me see if I can find them. Freezing kale is going to be the hardest unfortunately, but let me look
ETA: My daughters name is Kale...so every time I see it in stores, I silently giggle and look at her. |

Location: Kansas | This one looks absolutely amazing, not sure if you would be able to freeze it, but I'm sure it's possible http://www.cookingclassy.com/2015/03/creamy-kale-and-turkey-sausage-pasta-with-sun-dried-tomatoes/

| You can also just chop the celery and freeze it in baggies by itself. Great to throw in soups and recipes later. |

I was thinking of doing this... I read it gets mushy but I have so much of it I know I likely won't use it all. I blanched most of the kale and froze it too.
I don't know a lot about canning or I would do that as well. |

what is kaleΒ
It's almost like a spinach. Courser leaf I normally use in salads during the summer, but it grew like a weed this year and couldn't keep up with it. |

Location: Oklahoma | this is one of my all time favorite pasta recipes:
one package of pasta shells, italian sausage (I buy a smoked roll from the local Italian grocery store) kale Pecorino Romano cheese
Cook the sausage (I then run mine thru a food processor) and then add the kale to a pan with a small amount of olive oil... I just cook it on low until the pasta is done. Drain the pasta and mix with the kale/Italian sausage.... Then add however much cheese you want.
I can get you the formal recipe if you want... I just eyeball everything now some I cook it so often! |

| I don't know if it would tasted good or not, but singer, Patti LaBelle, has a recipe for a kale dish. She has a cooking show on tv. I'm sure you could google it. |
