Location: Desert Land | It's funny I see quite a few people saying Boulet...at a barrel race a couple of years ago I bought a pair because they were on sale (still not cheap) and they are the least comfortable boots I have ever owned. The quality is great and they are beautiful...but I hardley ever wear them. |

| I always liked Ariats before but right now I am wearing a pair of Star Babies and I HATE them, they are like hard bricks. I've had them probably 2 years and keep trying to wear them thinking breaking them in will help. Last weekend I slathered them with Skidmore's, put them in a black plastic bag in the sun to try to soften them. I wore them to work today and they STILL suck so I too, am in the market for COMFORTABLE, NON-BANK ACCOUNT WRECKING boots! |

Location: CTX | Depends on the price tag you want on it. I got a pair of the Durango's for $120. And they are like walking on sneekers. But you get what you paid for, the paint started flaking after a couple of months, so now I use them as mudboots at home.
I have a pair of Corrals, love the look of them, but if I have to walk only a little bit my feet hurt. So I never wear them.
Also I have 3 pairs of Dan Post, little more $$$ but have had all 3 pair for almost 3 years now, and they are still going strong.
Also have 2 pairs of Tin Hauls. (1 pair of mens, and 1 pair of womens the mens size 7 fits perfectly, the womens 8 is a tad narrow on the foot, but I just wear a thin sock in them) After 3 years they are still going strong.
Have 2 pairs of Justins, 1 pair of they gypsies, very comfortable and decent $$ but by no means a flashy boot. The other pair of Justins I love, but they have a riding heel and are actually a size too small (this was my first pair, and I didn't know how they should fit) so I can only walk on them for a little bit.
Also I have a pair of Boulets (cayman) and those we splurged on in Vegas last year, they are my "go to town only" boots, they were very expensive, but also never needed to be broken in, feel like a sneeker!! But I am very careful with them.
And I have a pair of Ariat fatbabies. They are very comfortable, but also more of an every day boot. Not my favorite to ride in because of the thick rubber sole. And a very decent pricetag.
I also got a pair of Twisted X, they took a while to break in,but are now pretty comfortable. Bad thing is, they are taller, and I can't ride in them because they pinch my leg against the fender....

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | I sold a pair of Ariats and a pair of Twisted X for being difficult to break in, huge and stiff in the ankle, and I couldn't feel my horse. I ended up with a pair of Justin Gypsies just because they were so soft they didn't need breaking in and didn't interfere with my feel when riding. I don't see them lasting a long time, but they weren't that expensive, so I'm ok with that. |

Do they feels similar to the driving mocs? I live in those shoes... if the boots feel the same I'll be needing a pair!

$30 on clearance and they seem to be on sale quite a bit. Super comfortable. I can walk in them for hours. |

Location: Southwest Louisiana | I got a pair of Justin Crepe sole boots back in 2003 or 2004. I just had to replace them last year. Hands down the absolute most comfortable boots ever. I have the deer tan hide and they were so soft. I don't think they make those anymore but they have some similar. I found a pair barely used on ebay for $20 and am hoping they last several more years.
I have a pair of Tin Haul and a newer pair of dressy Justins that I don't usually ride in, and they are both comfortable for wearing all day.
I had a pair of Corral because I liked how they looked. Way too uncomfortable.
I have a pair of Justin gypsy boots that are really comfortable. The sole is too chunky for riding but I wear them every day to feed or around the yard. Like wearing slippers.

Location: Arkansas | I've had them all, and Anderson Bean are hands down the most comfortable AND durable I've ever had. Don't settle for the AB Horsepower line--spend the extra $100 to get the "real" ones in the white box. You will be money ahead in the long run.
My Luchesse's are very uncomfortable to wear long-term, but have been durable. I had a pair of cheap Ferreni's I rode in that I was actually impressed with. They lasted almost a year and were not taken care of, lol. If I had to go cheap I would get those again. I bought a pair of Corral, and those were the biggest piece of junk I've ever worn. TWO MONTHS and they were destroyed--I actually sent them back to the manufacturer and they are supposed to be sending me a replacement (after I wore them down, that is).

Location: Northwest Florida | I've had my favorite pair of Tony Lamas for 3 years now and they still in great shape. By far my favorite.
My fiance swears by Nocona though, and he bought me a pair for my birthday last week. I have to say I like them a lot! I hate breaking in new boots (why I've had my Tony Lamas for three years!:) but the Noconas are pretty comfortable even brand new. |

| I am surprised no one has posted more about Justins. I LOVEEEEE my Justin bent rails. When I was an assistant trainer they were the only thing that lasted me more than a year. I had a pair that lasted for two years (a record for me). The leather soles are super nice and comfortable  |
