Ok, my filly is an excessive pooper while riding, it doesnt seem normal, what could this mean?

I have never had a horse w ulcers, is this a sign?

She eats well, drinks well, etc... Great disposition

Help????

I treated my mare for ulcers when she was pooping over 10 piles within an 8 hour period. It helped her dramatically.

I would definitely treat for ulcers, front and hindgut.  My ulcery guy poops nervously unless he's had his ulcer meds.  The meds seem to calm him down because then his tummy feels better.

I would think if she is a "nervous" horse there would be other signs (prancy, pawing while tied, not eating well, wont pay attention, etc)....

she is all cow bred and very laid back, she is 4yo....

it doesn't matter if I am riding her or out doing groundwork on a lounge line she is pooping, in an hour it will be 3-5 times, and its not just 3 apples, its a load....

she looks good, is nice and shiny, has a good disposition....

just bothers me that we have to stop in the middle of what we are doing for a dump :/
