I went to my first race in my new home state yesterday. There were 60 or so entered, so just a small local show. I was so pleased because everyone I smiled at and greeted SMILED BACK and replied! You just don't get that everywhere you go. So glad to be here!! :)

Thanks for being friendly to a complete stranger!

I only lived there for 20 weeks while I was at school learning to put horses on shoes, but I'll never forget how friendly the people were.

I'm just a tad bit east of McAlester, like Diane said. Go thru Wynnewood often, but never with horses. Maybe that can change!! You are in a better place of the state for jackpots than I am. I have told my husband I would gladly move/second home to PV/Ardmore area, but that's not gonna happen!

It's nice to be around such nice folks.  I find west Texans to be the same way.
CP, weren't you in east Texas before you moved or am I getting you mixed up with someone else?

Welcome to Oklahoma! Hope you come to Shawnee this coming weekend for NBHA 05 district finals. You don't have to be a member to run and there is added money!
