Subject: Fungus on nose

I have a horse that appears to have a fungus on his nose - almost looks like a sunburn, but it's not. It's cracked, crusty and sore - he is very careful and I can't get anything near it.

Any idea what I could maybe spray on it to clear it up?

The stongest containing zinc oxide (30%) diaper rash cream you can buy worked for my guy-I think it took about 2 weeks to get him healed up.
