We have an 05 as well. It's not made as well as some as the others, but we've had ours 5 years and its held up well. You can tell the welds aren't as good and the sheeting kind of bows in places, but it also doesn't have the high end price tag either. We did have trouble with the inside wheel well on the butt side (have mangers on the head side). About 3 years into owning it, we blew a few tires before noticing that the inside of the tires were actually rubbing the trailer. We took it to a shop to have that wall reinforced and haven't had a problem since.
I don't regret buying the Featherlite, but our next trailer will be a Platinum.

Decent mid priced trailers. Pretty reliable decent for the price range.

To be honest, they make a much better livestock trailer than they do a "horse" trailer. JMO.

I think ours is a 2004. The trailer itself has been durable, but I can't say the same for things like latches, windows, etc.

We bought it brand new, so we've had it quite awhile. No issues with it other than the little things mentioned above. Seems to be all of the "cosmetic" things. I would buy another for a run-around trailer if needed. Our LQ trailer is a CM and it is a way sturdier trailer.

Love mine!! I have a 4 horse 8' shortwall and have had little to no problems. Latches are good, I did have a window bust on it and the mats have moved a bunch, but other than that is is easy to haul and has really lasted. I think I am going to trade it in on a Lakota 14' shortwall with slide out. BF wants to go with me and stay in the trailer at bigger races.

I know a lot of the older ones are made very well and hold their value.
However, when I was looking to buy a trailer for myself a few years back I remember seeing a Featherlight that had been wrecked in the back of a dealer lot... It was a trade in. It was hit from the side. (Horse was ok, he was in the front of the trailer and the car hit the side in back.) The walls of the trailer had splits of wood coming out of them! When I walked closer to the trailer the walls were made of a thin sheet of aluminum on the outside, compressed wooden plywood on the inside and another thin sheet of aluminum on the inside. The dealer said Featherlight switched to that set up for a few years but stopped using this method after about 2-3 years after complaints from customers and dropped sales...
I'm not sure if what the dealer said was true, but I do remember seeing that plywood in between those thin sheets of aluminum and seeing that featherlight brand stamped on that wrecked trailer... Scary stuff the corners that were cut and the saftey measures that were disregarded in that particular trailer.
