I need one lol. Most barrel trainers I have talked to, that I like, don't want one from the ground up. I need a ground-going both ways trainer lol.

Where do you live? Liana Deweese will put a reining horse handle on one and then can still finish it out awesome in barrels in Ok. Dave Stinson in Texas starts a lot of famous barrel horses. Levi Olson in Aubrey, TX also puts reining/dressage type handle on them, was able to sell my colt for 4x's what I paid for him after someone saw him riding him. Julie Bailey in Texas gets them very broke first before training them on barrels....

I want to use Liana I think but I thought she didn't like taking colts that aren't broke already?

Liana has someone who puts the first 30-60 on them, Travis Fisher, and then she picks them up and can take them the rest of the way. She is a one stop shop and the BEST.

I have a great gal named Sabrina Thiel that is an awesome hand..she's in gainesville tx...800 month full care included and she delivers on time spent with your horse..she is on fb and has a website if you're in that area and looking... i also second Liana but she doesn't put first rides on t hem...i can't speak for Travis but if Liana trusts him he's probably good...i like Sabrina ..she'll ride em every day..give regular video and pic updates..she'll make a professional video of your horses progress...and she won't ride em in the round pen 30 days..she'll get em in the big arena in the first 2 weeks...she has an indoor and outdoor big pens so they see a lot of different stuff..and she feeds em and takes excellent care of them...and I'm pretty **** picky lol last filly I sent there I left 60 days and picked her up last month but I went every 2 weeks to see her and last 2 visits rode her with Sabrina to get a feel for her..she is ready to put on the barrels knowledge wise but she's only 2 so I'm gonna hold off til this next summer
(want a rodeo horse not a futurity horse
) ...she's of course walks trots lopes both directions great..side pass and moves off leg..backs eadily..gives her nose and gives at the poll..awesome stop..loose rein in a snaffle..and her overall manners were awesome when I picked her up..she makes a point once she's riding them not to lunge them in round pen before she gets on so they are ready to ride as soon as you saddle up which is nice with a colt to be able to just jump on ..anyway i couldn't be happier.
