El Rey Burner (by Bugs Alive in 75) mares was an awesome producer on Raise A Secret (by LNautral).....

Then of First Down Dash/ Beduino was a magic cross to produce Royal Quick Dash....we had a nice daughter of Royal Quick Dash bred to Jazzing HI that produced a wonderful foal....Merridoc (Jazzing Hi sire) is certainly a very nice cross on First Down Dash ...this can be seen in horses like Dash Ta Fame and Fighter on Fire.....

So possibly bred this horse to a mare with lines to Bugs Alive in 75 crossed on Merridoc......

I think what one poster is referring to is the bloodline of TINYS GAY in DTF and Merridoc which is well known for their turning genes ...

You can look at the bloodlines of the dam to JESS GOOD CANDY that just won the ALL AMERICAN FUTURITY ...(1.5 million to winner) that entire line of mares were based on one daughter of TINYS GAY to create the very successful Pevehouse line of Candy horses ... the Candy in his horses names is an old gamblers term for money .... i.e. Give me some candy (money)
Finding a mare with speed genes and known barrel horse lines without any DFC or FDD in their pedigree is getting tuffer and tuffer to find these days. As you know you need to maintain the speed in both sire and dam of any foal to be competitive today ..

I like to find rare first crossover mares such as this one ...
This mare I just bought is a good example of what is called a "clean crossover" in order to get the hybrid vigor you see when certain bloodlines are crossed for the first time ..
Of course your desired event conformation and families of horses that have been highly successful when bred to DFC OR FDD bloodlines is a must.

The first thing you will see in this mares pedigree is that her dam is by HOT COLOURS a well known successful barrel crossover bloodline with Special Effort and Raise Your Glass in her dams sire line.
Then your eyes show your brain the indepth lines of Racin Free, Pass Em Up TB, Bunny Bid, Six Fols, Runaway Winner and various lines of Easy jet // Jet Deck .. by way of Easy Six the sire of Streakin Six.

SIDE PHOTO shows excellent length of forearm and cannon bones for length of stride and agility. nice sloping shoulders into a good set of withers, strong groan and rump ..
REAR PHOTO shows strong rump with buttock muscles flowing down into gaskins all contained in an hour glass configuration which is a must for mares or stallions that I plan to breed to ..

Once you see a foal with hybrid vigor .. you will wish all foals looked like it .. lol
