Location: Probably On the Road to the Next Barrel Race! | Going for 2 perfs...I bought a shaggy," long-haired" platinum to medium blonde hairy vest (comes to about mid-thigh) to wear over a plain black long-sleeved tshirt. I think vest is cool n pretty, but when my husband saw it in closet, he said he thought it was something he was supposed to shoot at LOL! I'm wearing Rock Revival jeans and black corral Corral boots. Gaudy cross necklace. Don't know what to wear 2nd night...do you think this is dressy enough? Any suggestions for night #2? Gotta wear the same pair of boots :/ |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | I wore comfortable jeans (I think they were Rock 47 or Miss Me) and a nicer shirt. I think it was one that I bought the night before at one of the vendor booths. (I also got married the next day! Although, I was way more dressed up.) It's a rodeo!! Be comfortable and have fun!!
Sooooo wish I was there this year!!! |

| You see people in fancy sweats, Carhart coats, and long dresses, whatever you wear you will fit in! |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | I guess I don't understand why people "dress up" to go to the rodeo. I wore boots, jeans, a shirt and an nfr sweatshirt that we bought at Cowboy Christmas. It was chilly at night. We're hoping to make it again this year. And I plan on being comfortable. Not stylish. |

I read your second line as "boobs"... but they would probably be nice as well for that outfit. |

I think that outfit sounds perfect.
I have a pair of tall fashion (not something I would ever ride in) Corral Boots, skinny jeans, an olive green button up and a faux fur vest for one night.
Anything really goes... but if you want to really dress up and go all out there are plenty of good outfit ideas floating around on social media and plenty of good ideas from previous NFRs on Pinterest. |

Location: That part of Texas | Wear what you like. The only advice I can give is that it can be cold waiting outside in line after the performance but hot inside. The seats don't have much room for a bulky coat. I always liked to wear a thick sweater top or a vest/top set like you first listed (I think that sounds so cute -- rock it!) so you can get a good mix of being able to be warm when you need to and adjust when you don't. |

Especially if you go downtown. Even in the winter you wont believe what people are NOT wearing. |

| My advice is to remember that it will be cold.
I dress to the 9's when attending. This is the biggest baddest rodeo in the world and it is held in Vegas! Dress the part!
Check out The Bleacher Babe's Closet on Facebook. They have lots of inspirational outfits.

Location: Colorful Colorado | I have only been to the NFR twice. Both times it was cold. If I wore a tank top and mini dress I would have froze. I like your vest and boots. I bet you will be cute whatever you wear. As a poster said anything goes. For me I don't get to dress up that often and I feel like the NFR is a perfect place to dress up and have fun. I saw a lot of leather skirts and boots, that looked fun. I loved the fashion show, not sure what day that is, but it was fun. |

| Ummm, jeans and a shirt, comfortable boots. Maybe a nicer shirt but nobody ever accused me of being a fashion icon. |

| I planned my outfits the last time we went (also my first time) then discovered I had more fun shopping that day or the day before and wanted to wear what I bought instead of the things I had planned. Now we pack light and leave with a bunch of boxes, bags, etc. LOL but the outfit you have planned sounds just fine. |

| My go to outfit for vegas nights was a sweater dress with leggings and boots and a short fitted leather jacket. Warm and stylish. :) I used to hate the the dress with boots thing but now I'm into it. During the day I dress comfy. Tennis shoes and t-shirt/sweatshirt. |
