Location: Texas | So of course, I have someone coming to look at a horse on friday and said horse has decided he needed to rip a small chunk out of his leg... It's had no affect on him, but it's not pretty. About the size of 2 quarters and maybe 1/4 inch deep? I definitley think it needs to be wrapped, but what would you put on it? Looking for things I can find at tractor supply because that's about all I have access to. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I really like Underwoods and since you have to order it, I always keep it on hand. I have had great luck with Wonderdust. That is probably my go to. Cheap and easy to find, easy to blow on. |

Location: KS | I use wonderdust also, have been pleased with how the cut looks after the fact too, very minimal. |

Location: God's country...aka TEXAS | I use the Alushield aluminum spray. Keeps bugs and everything out. I put it on every type of cut and it heals up great. |

Location: Texas | Do you use the wonderdust by itself? or do you put something like betadine or vetricyn on first? |

Just the wonderdust. If it needs cleaned out, I just use water. |

| How old is it?
If not old, flush with saline. (I've used contact lense rinse at least twice)
Then super glue it with Krazy Glue.
Then a couple days of penicillin. Fix it right up.
If it's old though then no glue and Underwoods is good. |

I have crazy glued/super glued many wounds before, always with a good result. But don't wait too long to do it |

I actually bought something from valleyvetsupply for that. It is just like Krazy glue and if I remember right it wasn't any more expensive than the glue. Haven't had to use it yet though |
