Which one is your favorite when everything is added up
( what he is going to produce/has produced, foals...
)? I am hoping to breed my Doc Quixote mare and can't decide!!

I voted for Fab, but I'm bias because I've got a mare in foal to him now. Can't wait for that baby to come!!!

I've had a Frenchmans Fab and been around several also had the pleasure of going to Myers Sale and seeing ASG and several of his babies. I would say ASG hands down !

If I were to breed to a son of FG again, it would be first down french or A Smooth Guy.

Frenchmans Fabulous is the most proven horse on the list as far as a sire. I'm assuming from the options listed above color is high on your priority list.

Has your mare been 5 panel tested? Because A Smooth Guy is NOT N/N across the board.

Have you 5 panel tested your mare? At least one of your choices carries a recessive gene. It wouldn't bother me as long as my mare tested clear.
A few of the others I didn't see the 5 panel results on their web page.
(could have missed them
) I won't consider a non-tested stallion. Too many others to choose from. IMHO.

The colors are just a coincidence, however the color is a bonus!! Thanks for your replies too!!

Slightly off topic but do you have any CONFORMATIONAL photos w/o the saddle and NOT at a weird angle?? I couldn't find any so I couldn't really figure out how he would cross on her and that is why he is not on the poll
(First Down French
)!!

Besides the fact that with a "non tested stallion", his foals will NOT be able to be AQHA registered. ALL breeding stallions must be 5 panel tested thru U/C Davis for their foals to be registerable!

^^ this
It is interesting to see how many stallions haven't posted a copy of their 5 panel results yet. You would think more would have taken care of this requirement. The last minute rush is going to slow everything down and everyone will want to blame AQHA.
Of course the other 1/2 of the equation is the mare. I wonder if any stallion owners will require 5 panel testing on mares being bred in 2016...
