Looks like a nice colt to me.
I don't think lightly working one on barrels is any worse than the ranch work that we do on our young ones here. Looks like a big, strong colt, and I know that you are tiny!

Very nice work. I personally am afraid to ride one when they are two and prefer they be broken at 3 instead and turned out that winter and brought back in spring as a four year old. BUT this is not hard riding that you are doing and I don't partake in the futurities simply because I've never had the opportunity. However, If I did have one eligible I may consider breaking at two.
You are not asking him for anything more than the basics and I applaud you for your hard work WHILE IN SCHOOL. Wow. Takes dedication.

First word that came to my mind was beefcake. He looks more than capable to handle what you are asking of him.
Certainly there are some immature, fragile looking 2yos that have no business being ridden hard, that is absolutely not what I see from that video. Big strong colt and an easy work out.
