Location: Missouri | For pre-race we use Animal Element IN the Zone paste, it helps them stay focusedand work so much better! It does not make them hot nor does it take any run out of them! We keep them on AE detox and about 3 days prior to show we out them on AE preformance X, the product X helps them fire harder and helps them recovery faster after running. Great products, economical and we seen results the first run! It is all natural, no fillers and does not test! |

Location: Georgia | I have a mare that gets excited before we run and can tend to lose focus. I started giving her the Pozzi Relax paste by Oxygen. Great stuff and I have seen a big difference in her mannerisms while warming up and during the run.

Location: Jersey Girl | I have been looking for something to take the anxiousness out of my horse. I have tried In The Zone paste with no results. I do give Jailbreak (by Oxygen) on race day but that doesn't seem to change anything either. I have just ordered the Pozzi relax paste to try. A friend has good results with her gelding.
I have also used VitaCalm. That does work but seems to make him uber push style and sensitive to cues (which I don't need lol). I am still playing with the doses on that one and prob won't give it when I am headed to a race. |

Location: South Central Florida | We give Omeprazol and DAC little tube. I can't remember the name. The mare also gets Animal Element In the Zone, but she gets that every morning of a show and when ever on the road mostly because it makes her drink like crazy. The Omeprazol seems to keep her stomach settled, she was diagnosed with ulcers a year ago. The DAC pre racing stuff seems to give her a kick, it's just vitimans and minerals.
After race she gets more In the Zone. |

Same I tried Jailbreak but didn't notice a difference. |

Location: N. Texas | Jailbreak gi is not a calming paste. It is designed with the Oxy formula for respiratory, and has electrolytes and probiotics and a stomach buffer to reduce acid. The only way you would get a calming effect from jailbreak was if it helped your horses stomach. Relax is jailbreak with an added calmer. |

I gave my mare with gate issues Jailbreak, thinking it might help the acid in her stomach and it made her 10 times crazier....never again. |

JMO..When a horse reacts the opposite to what the product is suppose to do...I would suspect they are allergic to one or more of the ingredients. There have been way too many people that have had great results with Jailbreak. |

Location: South Central Florida | what about trying Omeprazol, ulcerguard...something.like that? Not a calming agent, but could settle her stomach. A friend gives her horse mint tums like treats, but my horse wont eat them. |

| Ulcerguard and ForeRunner. Works great and no issues. If I have one that gets a little excited then vitacalm works the best to take the edge off.
I have heard way to many mixed review with JailBreak. |

Location: Feeding mosquitos, FL | Jailbreak for my over-worky, worrisome, anxious guy. He wants so badly to do a good job that he can have a hard time focusing. Settles his stomach.
OxyBoost for my open mare. It helps her recover and she plain ol' runs faster on it. Though I'm thinking about switching to the RaceX once the summer hits. She struggled with bleeding a little once it got good and hot. |

Prerace pastes really jack up the entry fee for a barrel race. I was using Oxygen Rush $15/dose, In The Zone $5 dose, then 1/4 tube Ulcerguard $7.50 dose. This totals $27.50. Now, add THAT your entry fee!
I finally realized this was beyond ridiculous and went off of all products for two months on all horses. Guess what - no behavior changes. I was wasting my money; horses are still clocking great without all of it. Try it with and without - you may find the same thing.
If I have a young one that has to have a calming agent, Quiet-X liquid seems to work on most, I refuse to give anything with tryptophan. Otherwise, great (natural) feed, best quality hays and some minerals and probiotics are working wonderfully.
