Im in southern California but I bought my colt from Los Alamitos track. THere is a jockey there named Sarah and she coordinates with the trainers to market and sell race horses off the track. She often knows every horse and is extremely honest about why they are being sent off the track and any injuries etc. www.equineracers.com She doesn't have very many quarter horses usually more thorobreds but if you tell her what your looking for she can usually find it and talk to the right people. I bought my DTF/Mr Jess Perry gelding through her. Easy process and got him at a fraction of what people are paying for DTF colts.

Following!
I was thinking about posting a similar thread. I'm looking to purchase a 2-4 y/o here in the next couple months and I'm considering and OTT QH. I just don't really know where to look. The TB's are much easier to find.

Louisiana.....try the mix sale they will have in the fall.... or a trainer in Louisiana .... you can pick up great bred horses that didn't run worth a crap at the end of the meets for less than 1200$ if you get up with the right trainer.

I'm going to sell a real nice colt I raised...I'm in Southern Oklahoma....if you would like more info on him, PM me.
He has not been on the track...was not started too early...and is completely sound and very fast.

I am looking too in Oregon. I found one in WA and the night before I was scheduled to pick her up they guy decided to keep her uhg lol. So if anyone knows of anything let me know! With Portland meadows and emerald downs not too far you think it wouldn't be so difficult but I think you have to know the right people!

Renee Spiller in George West Tx. She also has Louisiana breds running the track there and contacts in Miss. I've got two ott geldings from her that are phenomenal.
