I have been looking at Merhow trailers for the hubby. The research shows that they have been in business for 60 years but more popular in the northern US. Looks like a nice built trailer and quality inside. Please give me any feed back that you have had with them. Good or bad ?

I have friends that have had an older LQ model for 15 yrs now. It has held up as they are well made. I think the sides are plywood covered in fiberglass. I am sure the newer ones aren't made that way tho.

Loved ours, it was the all aluminum "very lite" trailer. It had the slide. The horse part was very large. We did not have any problem with the slide. We did have a weld issue but Merhow fixed it no problem, plus while it was in the shop they went thru it nose to tail and fixed little things they did not like, the customer service was great! The only thing I would have changed would be to make sure the roof in the horse part is insulated. It did get hit in July and August., we added fans in the back that helped
