Does anyone have any good tips, articles, youtube videos, etc., addressing footwork, and getting "quicker feet". TIA

Working then along a fence and doing roll backs into the fence and hustling them out. Sherry cervi has a YouTube video and I believe Troy crumrine on winning runs.com

The figure 8 with a definite counter arc position thru the middle of the figure. Same drill with the second half of the figure 8 being counter arced. Then at a reined cow horse clinic they had us walk down the fence, two track out with the hip out away from the fence, disengage and walk the back feet a half circle around front feet (forehand pivot) and immediately rear hand pivot doing your best to blend it seamlessly. One other one from that clinic was trotting ever smaller circles till you ended up rolling them back over their hocks and trotting agressively out of it.

The last two drills you mentioned are ones I do with my horses pretty frequently.

They really helped all of mine understand that even though we were shortening the stride and really directing the feet that the feet needed to stay quick and ready.
