Location: North Dakota | I recently did a trial of Cur-Ost. My horse has KS so has chronic inflammation in his back, which he does get injections for. They keep it under control for about 5 months but still he will have issues if I don't work him for a couple days. So anywho his injections wore off and I took that as an opportunity to try the Cur-Ost. He was on the loading dose and I didn't do anything with him for like 4 or 5 days because I was taking care of my mom after her surgery. Normally, after that many days off he'd be bad even with the injections. His back was PERFECT. I could not believe it. I ran out of the bag and haven't had a chance to order more, which sucks, but I was BLOWN AWAY with how good he felt and how well he ate it! Once I can afford to stock up on a couple bags I plan to keep him on it indefinitely. It worked for him and it worked for me! |

| I recently (3 weeks ago) started a mare on Equine Natural Care herbs. Long story short, she poisoned herself nibbling on plants that were toxic to her, and her liver & digestion needed support. She's also on their blood dtx mixture. I've heard nothing but good things about feeding herbs and I'm hoping these will help her out! I love seeing that herbs have helped others out so much already!!  |

Location: East Tennessee but who knows?! | I think you've got to be very careful feeding herbs, especially when you're mixing. I do mix my own for ulcers after doing a ton of research & actually having tried the same herb mix from an accredited herbalist and having great results.. |

Their products are tested with research trials on racehorses at the University of Guelph Equine Research Centre. Their main customers are racehorses trainers and hunter-jumpers.They sponsor a lot of Olympic, Grand Prix and Top Race Trainers in Canada.
I liked the products as they came in leafy mixes rather than fine powders..never had a problem with fussy horses. They will custom mix formulas ( inc vit/mineral supplements etc) for individual horses so you can have just one pail to deal with..( hopefully they too might start the daily packet thing) They manufacture on site raw product to finished to ensure quality control. They travel directly around the world to purchase the herbs from growers.
I used Breathe, EIPH mix, Mare product , Kelp, may order again for one horse as with the low Canadian dollar it will be a good deal and their products are reasonable already.
I will not use herbs from a bulk store.. And mix myself. Too hard to know what you are getting from an importer and where the source is( think China ugg) |
