We are considering a move to NE Kansas. Can anyone give me information on rental properties that allow pets and horses? Right now, we drive 40 miles to work, so driving into Lansing is no problem. We have looked up some boarding options, but would much prefer to have the horses right with us. Also, are there quite a few barrel races in the area? Thank you.

It will be very difficult to find rental houses near lansing that allow you to keep the horse on property, or expect to pay over $2,000 a month for rent.

Thanks. That is what we were afraid of. We were hoping to find something farther out, or even over in Missouri.

actually.....would you drive about an hour to lansing? If so, I know of a rental property that sits on land you could probably discuss boarding with the owner.

Yes, I believe we would. My husband knows the area. Where would this be located?

Honestly, there is NOTHING is Lansing. I would try Leavenworth, KS county. As well as Easton, Tonganoxie, and Basehor. They're not too far from Lansing.

Thanks for the info. Our decision will be based on whether we can find a place, and have to decide by tomorrow! We are teachers and can't move until May or June.
