Super quiet mind, barely 14.2, and red roan. She is only 4 this year and has maybe 200 rides on her and she just gets better and better.
I have just started trotting the pattern and including barrel in my training (out in a pasture). She is already perkin her ears to them and trying to wrap around them.

| I feel like there are many different types of cow bred horses just as there are with any other discipline specific bloodlines. I also show cutters and they have their a own bloodlines of "hot" type horses. As some of the posts before stated, its all about the horse. There are some cow-type bloodlines that are known to be more athletic and run harder than others but they can also possess a very fragile mind. I think if you can find that quick-cattiness, cross it on a big time running horse and manage to get a foal that is sane, you could have a superstar. I currently have a Peptoboonsmal/Dry Doc bred gelding and he can really run and turn but I have to make sure I hold his mind together. Anyways, hope this advice was helpful! |

Bought a Doc O Dynamite daughter out of a Peppy San Badger daughter who was out of a Doc O Lena daughter. I'd never had much experience with this breeding. She was sore on the front from years of roping. We literally loved riding her. She let my inexperienced niece build confidence around the barrels. We bred her to El Scorcho. A colt was born in January and he is perfect. Can not wait to see what he does for us. She's being bred again to him again. They may not have the speed, but I believe they can be bred to speed and can turn a wickedly good barrel. Good luck :)

| I have a son of Cat Ichi that has been doing great on the barrels. A turning fool. And one of the funniest horses I have ever been around. |

Turning out to be really competitive in our local high school district. | I have a mare I will be running in the 2017 futurities she is a granddaughter of shining spark out of a daughter of highbrow hickory. She is amazing. Hunts the barrels and one of the quickest horses I've ever been on. And she beautiful too! |

Location: United States | I have a cow/reining bred **** quickest thing I will EVER own and runs at the top if I can stay with her. There are different calibers of cutting bred horses. I don't think its fair to categorize them and also don't ever forget.. form to function. I wont ever look past any breeding if they are athletes with brains. |

| Just bought a filly , sire has Poco Bueno top & bottom, Doc o Lena, Doc Bar. Dam has Poco Bueno , Leo. I went a different direction this time with bloodlines, and so far this little filly is proving to be smart as a whip and very calm and sweet :D |
