Location: My own little world :) | I really like the Dave Elliot snaffles...well all of his bits in general. Also, when I ride babies I really like the Myler snaffles. I think that is the brand anyways. The mouthpieces are rounded to be more comfortable in the horse's mouth and my horses all seem to really like it. Mine is a three piece with a little copper roller. |

Location: Southern Indiana | My favorite one is by reinsman and it's got a smooth mouthpiece with a chain center. I need to get one by dutton. His look really nice. I don't like to ride my finished horses in ring bits much, so I don't have a huge collection of them. I think all the ones I do use are reinsman. |

Tom Balding snaffles are the most expensive on the market. However, you are also buying one of the very best made bits that are hand made and produced here in America! I have 3 of his snaffles in my repituar of bits and always find that when I am in trouble and need to go back to basics his snaffle is the one I reach for. I am willing to compromise on some of the other bits made but not on a great snaffle and correction bit! |

Location: MD | I mainly ride in o rings and offset dee's on every horse, every day. My two favorite "go to" bits in the barn right now are a Balding and an old Hunter Dee that Jay Matter made for me years ago. I am a firm believer that you will never make as good a horse with a cheap, "off the shelf" bit as you can with a high end, properly balanced, well crafted bit. |

Location: Arizona | The JP Korsteel oval mouth hunter dee snaffle is my go-to colt starting bit. The ring snaffle with the same mouthpiece isn't bad either, but I really like the hunter dee & my colts seem to respond to it well. I also use a Myler comfort snaffle as a tuning bit for my 20YO gelding, for whatever reason he hates broken mouthpieces so this is a good compromise when I'm training or conditioning him. |

Location: Idaho | I have two Dave Elliots and looking to add a Flaharty snaffle to my collection sometime this summer. I also really enjoy a locked snaffle, I have one that has no makers mark, but its balanced and has a great feel, I really really like that snaffle, wish I knew who made it!! |
