I know a lot of horses that have cut that long extensor tendon (on the font of the leg that attaches to the foot, to make them land on the bottom of the foot when they step and not on the front with it buckled under), and it has not stopped one from competing.  Each end will scar tissue back to the bone and other than some cosmetic stuff, you will never know it happened.  So glad you gave her a shot and she is doing so well for you!

Thanks! I've had several people tell me the same thing. And the vet said basically she will figure it out since she is young. But when I change her bandage now and see how she doesn't have much control it makes me wonder. But like the vet said. She has had this bulky bandage on for over 250 days. Once we get it off she will gain strength they think. Makes me a nervous mom. But just seeing her run and play makes me happy!!
