I need to buy 4-5 headstalls, a couple of one ears and a couple brow bands. I want GOOD quality leather and hardware. Don't need anything super fancy, not looking to spend $150 per headstall. Any suggestions?

Paul Taylors. They're anywhere between $15-30 and the best soft leather ever. I've been using mine daily for a year and they still feel as good as the day I bought them.

Teskeys has nice one ear leather headstalls. They are plain Jane, but good. I think they are about $15 apiece, but if you buy 3, they give you a break.  I find them when I shop there - you may have to call them to get the deal.

I've been very happy with San Saba Equine.  They make very high quality tack and can make it to suit your needs/taste.  If you want more info., pm me.

I've had decent luck searching for "Amish" tack on eBay.  Very affordable and really nice buttery leather.

I also love my KO Trading headstalls. I've been using mine for several years and they're just as soft and supple as the day they arrived.

You should look up 73 tack out of Baker, MT.  They make a leather headstall that is exceptional quality for the price ($30 or less for browbands).  They make a large variety of thicknesses and styles.  I just bought 3 headstalls, 3 sets of reins and 3 rolled leather curbstraps for a little more than $100.
