Kgirl - 2016-05-05 11:46 PM They look great! I hadn't heard about the outlet either! May I ask why you did rubber half up?
The partial rubber wall spreads the impact of a kick so none of the wall boards will break and possibly injure a horse if his foot gets caught ... ... kick all you want to with no injuries .. (same idea with the kicking wall in your trailers to keep from denting your trailer and softening the impact on horses hoof) Hat's off to Hubby doing a great job!! Of course he has the supervision of a wonderful woman to keep him on track .. lol Enjoyed your nice pictures ... as I viewed them a thought crossed my mind ... "These look like the padded rooms they have in mental institutions" ... super job ... they will last forever especially with the double walled partitions!!

Yes exactly!!! Since my husband trains horses, we have a lot of "outlaws" that come to us. Can't even begin to tell you how many panels we have went through, the rubber just adds extra protection for our stalls and the horses in them of course!
It is actually rubber belting that my husband was able to get for hardly nothing. We put it in the bottoms of the stalls also, once we packed them with crush and run.

Is that mining belt? How did you secure it?

Very nice barn and stalls. The rubber belting was a great idea.

It was from a steam plant where they unload coal, so yes basically the same stuff. It is secured with flat headed screws, they are the same color as the belting so you cannot really see them.

Nice!!! I love pretty stalls. My horses usually aren't stalled but when I have to put them in one I want the pretty ones. lol Makes me enjoy cleaning them more. Wish I felt that way about cleaning my house.

You can also go to some manufacturing companies and tell them you would be interested in their belts when they break. We have done that and then cut out the broken or torn part. We use them for truck mats, trailer mats, anything we can think of.
