Location: Missouri | I finally got to ride my colt last night in it, and he had ALOT of trouble loping a circle. He stumbled and lost his rear end a few times. To the right, he crossfired and it was a mess. So my question is........is it just because he's young and hasn't found his feet really yet? or is it just too dang deep and I need to scrape some out? It was shallow before. |

| Can you wet it down really well? Sand always seems a bit better tomb when it is wet. Maybe that would let you know about the ground. Does he do the same on grass? Nice to seen you here by the way!! |

Location: Missouri | Yeah he did fine before and he's loped in the pasture, in my arena, in other arena's. I'd test out my old trusty and see if it's too deep for her, but she can trip on a blade of grass so she's not reliable, lol |

Does it feel to thick/deep for you? If so you may need to take some out.

Not too bad. It's easier than walking on the beach! I'll get my non tripper out and test him. |

| The good thing about sand it will pack down or wash away with rain and any sugar sand will blow away with some wind .....
Time is your best friend and do not drag it or if you do ... only disturb the top
2 inches for cushioning ...
If you covered up some clay with sand ... watch when the clay cracks this
summer ... your sand will disappear as if you have an unending hour glass..
lol
