I have a mare with some stifle issues. She was diagnosed with osteochondrosis and had very minor lesions in her stifle. The surgeon didn't think she was bad enough for surgery. Would she benefit from cur-ost? Which formula would you use? Thanks.

I feed Cur-Ost Total and the best thing that's helped mine w/ stifle issues is PHT MagCU stifle wraps. He was injected in March and still pretty weak, he trots & lopes down hills now without issues.

yes MagnaCu Stifle wraps are awesome! I wonder if maybe Cur-OST Pure wouldn't help more than Total? At least maybe for a little bit?

Possibly, I've never fed that.

I know that the human Pure works better for me than the Ultimate. I threw my back out and usually I have to go a couple days a week for a week or two to get back to normal, but this time I doubled up on the Pure and I have only gone once a week for two weeks because I am doing better. Also, my arthritis in my thumb and knee and hip are not bothering me at all.
I have my horse on Total and a 1/4 scoop of the Pure for hock spurs and he is doing really well. Steps over and under the best he ever has.

My 23rd old gelding started with the loading dose of Pure for 2 weeks for his severe arthritis. I think that strong anti-imflamatory is what he needed to get him feeling better. He is now maintained on Total. Pure is worth it for the loading dose for horses with joint issues as I saw quick and drastic improvement. I still add in a 1/4 scoop of Pure to his total if he is having a bad day or over does it one day.

I will never be without the product for myself and for my horses.  Yes, it will help with the issues you're having through inflammation and pain management, which should slow down the rate at which the damage is occuring.

Depending on the level of pain your horse is in would determine which product i'd start with.  I prefer the Total Support simply because of the wide variety of benefit it offers.  The Pure will be the highest level of anti-inflammatory herbs, however doesn't offer the as many benefits to the entire body as the Total Support does.   Some can jump in with the Pure for a couple of weeks and then maintain on the Total Support.  Each horse and each case is different, so sometimes I tweek the formulas on my crew to find the perfect combo for each specific case.  It sounds like yours is fairly straight forward, and I would likely start with the Pure then maintain on the Total Support.  If he gets sore again, add in a quarter scoop of the Pure to give it a little more boost.
