Location: SE Missouri | I just got this mare home http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ms+western+dash. Always loved her dam and granddam, plus I like her daddy (avatar).. She is breeding stock so looking at regular registry APHA studs. She was a race winner.
Thinking of total package, what are some of the APHA stallions you guys like... Probably to keep but want to have the most marketable foal possible if I change my mind, lol. I lean towards straight running bred and incentives are pretty important but I'm open to others :)

Location: Missouri | Besides the ones mentioned, CRM Livewire or Awesome Chrome. I have a baby this year by Sizzlin Red Corona (who is 3/4 brother to Corona Cartel, I think...I'm not great with pedigrees.) He's not APHA, but could be, if you twisted his owners arm. He seems to be good minded. I'll post pics when I get to my computer.

I owned your mare's dam for a time and have her maternal sister in foal to The Wranglers Image (son of FDD) for 2017. So naturally, I think Awesome Chrome would cross great on your mare. Like others, I also really think CRM Livewire would be a solid cross too. Congratulations on your new horse! |

Location: Feeding those that need me | Would love the chance to breed this mare to one of our boys. Resale has been very good to us, and 4 of our boys are now Future Fortunes, as well as Multiple other incentives. Let me know if you would like any offspring pics of any of them! I am going to be working on updating the website this week. |

I'm hoping something interesting comes off the track this year? Anyone know?
We'll take one or two to Mr Judy Too in the next year or so. But mostly I am looking at breeding my solid Paint mares to my QH studs. |

CRM Livewire was a Champion Runner who earned over $100K. Photos of his first foals look good too!
I'm still hoping for another couple of good running tobiano stallions. Our gene pool is too small. We used to have people like Walter Merrick and Virdon Royce breeding Paint mares to the very best of QH and TB stallions generation after generation. Fewer people are doing that now and the influence of the cropout studs has reduced the number of good tobiano stallions further.
The older tobiano studs are dying off. I'm hoping for some new blood in tobiano stallions! |

Osage Spirit is also a World Champion Running Horse with a 100 SI. His owners opted not to run him anywhere near as hard as Livewire because they wanted him to go on to do other things, as well. He is back with the barrel trainer and almost ready to enter as of now - showing a lot of promise as a barrel horse and as a sire. His first crop of foals were this year and we are very pleased - and it certainly doesn't hurt that he is homozygous black and enrolled in Future Fortunes.
All of our stallions also perform in the arena. I like to choose stallions based on their proven athletic talent and not just their bloodlines. There are too many people out there breeding horses just because they are a "son of" and have spots, regardless of conformational faults, disposition, etc.
The Pevehouses' have a really nice up and coming son of PYC Paint Your Wagon that I like as well.

You have a couple on my short list! I'm hoping to come that way over the winter or will be on the lookout for videos! |
