FMJ!! My barrel horse is FMJ, I liked him so much I bought a daughter. They are gritty and a handful in the barn. I have a 2yr old and yearling by First Down French and a weanling by Epic Leader. The babies have good bone and dispostitions. Smart.

Both are really nice sires. It really just depends on what bloodline you like better. I'd personally go with PYC.

SKM can you tell me a bit about the PYC horses ? Are they smart, good minded or tend to be more fractious minded etc?

So far I have been very happy with the PYC bred babies we have. We only breed in state so I have no experience with own get of PYC, but we have bred to three different sons of PYC and all the babies have been very smart and personable. Usually I am not too thrilled about the baby breaking part of the year, but this year I am excited for fall and to start this group I have coming up.

They are good minded. The PYC's and the IJ fillies tend to be a little on the lazy side. They are good minded and kind from what I've seen.
